truly said.Banning is not the solution.Taxes higher and customer awareness about why one should not use it should be done so that customer themselves leave it. Hope govt takes some recommendations and implement it more

You should not be banning these and spending time pushing government control like Chinese communist party. Those ads make money for many people. If you want to make a social change push to have counter ads and also push for warnings. Banning ads does not stop people from doing bad things but it makes bad people make more money. This is proven by research. more

My lawyer friend tells me that the so-called surrogate ads are legally nearly impossible to regulate by law. Vimal's ad for example clearly purports to be for scented Elaichi and the spoken words too do not say otherwise. Vimal's label is protected by trade mark law and can be legitimately used for Elaichi, as well as, for gutka. Jyoti is right that the manufacture of certain products should be banned. more
