Mid last year and a few months back, it was recommended by this circle that a code of ethics for elected Member of Parliament be put in place. Both these submissions were made to the key stakeholders.

For some MLA/ MP,s, the right place is behind the bar, but they are sitting in the policy making bodies, what a shame. They are the blot on the face of the democracy. Every Political party knew them but they invite to join them, why ,reason best known to them. The result is entire society is becoming criminalised by each passing day. more

Public can acquire/attain only PRINT AND ELECTRONIC MEDIA REPORTS since having the legitimate belief that they are the direct proof or, supported with the requisite proof . Some news /details com from only these two sources. Some times, the T. V. Channel visualized exhibit of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Live becomes a supportive . If this Journalist proof is set off to be valid , no Citizen can get / obtain any other direct Proofs. If the Report is to be directed and recommended through / by a member , again it is another that not easily possible please . more

Well, that may be a consolation for us all who write here. But, if we think that ''now that a new chapter titled “Ethics” has been inserted to the Rules of Procedure in LS'', all our MPs will become good boys, we will be bigger fools. Let the government show some grit and determination to uphold the 'Rule of Law', not by merely inserting chapters on ''Ethics'' and ''Morals'' and looking the other way when it doesn't work. Was/is the unruly behaviour of some of the habitual offender-MPs/MLAs due to the absence of these moral lessons? Hypocrisy, not democracy, we thrive in! more
