I wish to request Sir Modi ji, that one policy should be made for the news channels and news papers or who ever is dealing with the happenings around that they should not make a news caste, religion, area, region, state specific. If someone has been murdered or rapped...it itself is a news ..making it specific to region or caste we actually end up provoking cast-ism racism and which can definitely lead to riots and all after the incidence. It should be a policy that no news should sound like "dalit mahila was rapped"or "again a north east student was murdered in Delhi".
Journalism today thrives on sensationalism.....without any responsibility attached to it. The problem in our nation is lack of accountability. Journalists are in the business to make money ..... sensational news sells. What we can do is to somehow make them accountable for their actions too without curbing the freedom of press. more
