Human life safety in transport systems

IR should also think about safety from all angles, as timely regular maintenance and preventive maintenance , timely replacement of rail tracks and coaches.Life and load bearing capacity of tracks and coaches?
Goods trains also must be taken care of for all such parameters.
IR is doing its best by putting non collision systems.Human life is very precious and should be safe every where in trains, buses, cars or taxis or auto rickshaws.
We think less about bus accidents, car accidents.
Strict safety measures should be taken there also to prevent loss of human lives.
Drivers working hours, alcohal, speed?
Drivers of planes , face practical driving problems in hill areas.Runing of Buses in night and day by the same driver.
Strict rules and their application make a strong base for our safety.
It's for betterment of railways but concerned to loss of human lives. more

Culprits responsible for sabotage must be punished severely more
We know from last 10 years IR upgrade the system vastly as compared to UPA govt. some time accident happened due to lack of human error, but some people/ party set the negative narrative, to show the how govt. is badly work. but we trust on railway minister/ government. because we also the part of this nation. more
Irrespective of the Government in power, Railways mindset still remains unchanged. I had a bad experience last year with IRCTC as also Railways and despite writing to both as also Railway Minister Ashwini Upadhyay, nothing was done. IRCTC passed buck to Railways washing their hands saying they are just Software people for booking arrangements whereas it is Railways who has to deliver and the Railways are using Contract system so they pass the buck to Contractors ultimately no action from any quarter. So as passenger who is deprived of service despite paying if someone complaints don't put it down to mindset of complaining. more
recruitment of track checker, and other posts on regular basis is very important. everywhere you cant have contract people. its an biggest corruption by present government more
in india when an accident happens then only the racks and sleepers are changed otherwise there is no maintenance done or even a scheduled maintenance happens i presume more
Everything needs money. 5-6 years back, Railways Minister was asked to upgrade infrastructure to minimize accidents. He replied 99% of revenue is spent on salaries n pensions. With 1% can we expand or upgrade and spend required funds on preventive maintenance etc. ? See the condition of Roaways buses. They are not fit for road worthiness. Tyres are worn out even after retreading a number of times. Window glasses are broken. Seats are dirty and torn. This is due corruption, freebies, nonaccountability and high cost of governance. more
