How to rebuild immunity in children

What this LocalCircles survey is saying about reduced immunity in children and in essence we are saying is 100% true. And it is not limited tk children but also adults are falling sick more easily and many times a year.

My question is what can be done to improve immunity of our children and ourselves. I am not looking for nutraceuticals but real natural things like food, meditation, exercise, that have worked for people.

I worry that if our school going kids with this low immunity go to college, they will have difficulty so a solution must be found more

It is a big controversial subject. Views of oldies like me may not be appreciated ... it may be branded as reverting to stone age mindset !! Problem no 1 I believe is succumbing to over influence by high budget high decibel highly noisy and provocative visible ads using celebrities by the mafia comprising fast foods / convenience food business corporates, appearance business (gyms, body shape and colour, BMI craze, ..), medical community that promises quick solutions for appearance and using jargons calorie, protein, fats, fibre, ... all western interests imported / exported to our country, collusion between research institutions / medical journals/ regulatory agencies, policy making bodies, .... Social media that makes youngsters feel inadequate, inferior, insecure, shamed by peers / succumbing to peer pressure if you dont speak their lingo / follow them or mimic them .... Its a big business to gain from someone's misery. The doctor community (physicians / surgeons) in appearance business are no innocents .... On Sun, 8 Oct 2023 at 11:58, Vijaya Nair wrote: > more
Every body is worried. The virus is still not gone totally, it has created havoc on the lives of every living person. Let us together find the solution more
Minimise all packed and commercially processed food to a bare minimum, e.g. avoid bread - rely on chapatis/rotis from whole wheat atta, relish traditional sweets made at home than to rely on shop made or branded ones, rely on fruits or home-made fruit juices than the packed ones. If you are a non-veg. avoid packed - ready to cook or cooked ones - get the fresh raw items from the market and cook at home. By the way - chocolate is a nutritios item - but not the packed one, loaded with fancied extent of sugar. Chocolate is very easy to make at home - yes all variations - milk, fruits, nuts, etc. more
Every living being (including human beings) need to absorb (i) air,(ii) water, (iii) Nutrition (food - inputs through all our five sensory organs) and (iv)sunshine from the environment... Therefore one ensure these are of best possible quality. One shhould perform (v)locomotion (physical body movements, including structured exercises, if required), (v) take adequate rest & sleep, (vii) maintain mental equilibrium and (viii) keep away from potentially poisonous articles (stimulants, poisons, etc.) and dangerous activities like operating machineries, etc. without adequate care... This may considerably reduce the occassions for impaired health and improve natural immunity. more
Healthy food intake with right proportion of vitamins, proteins and minerals, drinking water with TDS more
