How Social Media should work in India - Inputs Sought

Many of you know how LocalCircles with your participation since 2015 has been raising the need for responsible social media. Below is the link to the last survey in which many of you participated.

It is critical that hate, offensive, abusive and rumor/misinformation based content is identified and timely and effective action is taken against the same.

Social media is necessary more  
Social media is good in a democratic country. It should be properly used to vent the feelings sequences& plight by the citizens. As it is recently developed in India it has got its own plus and minuses. more  
High time Social media is reigned in. They have done more damage than good for this country. more  
Social media is. necessary evil. I have used social media effectively to raise customer service issues and get them resolved. When a public grievance is posted on social media, the company immediately responds abd requests me to use their inbox for discussions. This has been very effective for issue resolution and feedback to them. more
