How DLF is cheating the system?
There are people who are renovating their apartments by removing load bearing walls and beams on the ground floor of the building. There are small and large building. These buildings can collapse on one earth quake. The changes are illegal and should be punished by law but HUDA and MCG do act on the complaints as the builder and apartment owner pay them well not take any action. There is a similar case of this renovation in DLF Exclusive Floors by the RWA president who has been hiding from the law since the 4 years and a group of citizens have been asking the Gurgaon Police, HUDA and MCG to act on the matter. When will the citizen be safe in Gurgaon is the bigger question ? Does the Gurgaon Police stand for safety and protection of the citizen's of this district ?
These fancy apartment by DLF And Unitech will fall like a stack of the card when the earthquake hits Gurgaon or if we have massive floors because some people wanted to make their house bigger by illegally removing structures. The Apartment owners claim no fault as they pay bribes to the builder's for approval and then to the govt. officials to stop the act on the property.
Wake up Gurgaon Authorities to the disaster on the way ? The Babu's have been told that this situation is not for some - this menace of illegal construction has been going on around for some time.
We can cry about traffic mess today but tomorrow would be a worse day when this building collapses. more
