Hospital Billing Standard is now published

Someone said it right “patience is a virtue and we must have lots of it. This best applies to LC Manager.

Kudos for taking up the cause of hospital bill standardisation. The Government has published the same yesterday (see attached). I remember i put in this demand post Covid and LC Manager took it up in 2024 and in 2025 we have a national standard for it.

Superb collective effort. Now lets push the Government to enforce 🙏🙏 more

Its very difficult to implement and monitor any standard norms on hospitalisation as hospitals are of various types, in different cities and have different kinds of manpower working. Besides, good healthcare is a high demand requirement and many people would not care to pay any amount. Kudos to try and bring some sanity in this space. more
Govt makes the rules but does not have control on implementing agencies. more
As long as, the regular employees are appointed, the working of govt hospitals will never improve. Every employee including ward boys work as DONs. Appoint all employees on contract and link Salaries to performance. There will be sea change in the working of all govt institutions . more
implementation of the govt rules and norms is very weak which hospitals or any org takes advantage and people do not have the patience to wait in case of urgency and pay up to the hospital and govt pats itself on its back for doing it but if the hospital does not adhere to it there is no mechanism to check the same and we have to run pillar to post to hightlight the issue this is same with any govt imp, emented norms more
Eye wash bGovt., it has happened before, but washed away in Elctoral bonds, this exercise at the most is a fund raising execise by Govt. more
