Why the Government do not take the blame on themselves ??? You charge us with swechha bharat Cess and tell us that class four employees are to be blamed ??? Why the supervisory workers and above are not taking action ??? Else stop collecting he Cess. more
Grade iv Workers: 1 There is need to conduct exhaustive training of class 4 workers to bring in behavior changes. 2 The workers should be trained and equipped to work according to latest technology / machinery etc. 3 Workers lack basic appliances for carrying out their task effectively. 4 There is no appreciation or motivation for them. Have we ever heard of a Cleaning Worker being appreciated for his outstanding work. I do not believe that 100 % of these workers are KAMCHOR. more
strict supervision of the workers and accountabilty shall be fixed on the supervisors. Interim public opinion shall also be called by the authorities. more
I think sanitary workers are being blamed for conditions they are not responsible for. Municipalities do not provide proper equipment and encouragement to them to do their work. They should also feel that they do useful work and do it in dignified manner, they should be treated like human beings. How many of us know the name of the municipal worker who comes to collect garbage where there is door to door garbage. They are faceless entities for us. Even after years of contact, do we inquire after their families? more
1. Workers have no authority to check garbage being thrown in places other than the bins marked for this purpose. They should be armed with an app based facility to take a picture and report so the appropriate action can be taken by the MCD. 2. Work should be given on contract for better accountability. Presently the workers send proxy to work on their behalf. 3. All workers should work in uniform with their names properly displayed on it. On the back contact number and name of the Office responsibly for their work should be clearly given in bold details. more
