Full refund for flight cancellation within 24 hours

DGCA charter states that full refund is due for all cancellations with 24 hours of booking

But travel platforms are apparently ignoring the rule unless you tell them about it

Has anyone had a similar experience? more

The ground rules for all customer associated interests should be well laid out and regulated. The regulator should be independent and all terms and conditions should be made public. In the absence of a rule, benefit of doubt must be given to the customer. Having an independent ombudsman should also be considered. Airlines cannot be making one-sided rules and get away. Its not about freedom to do business, but the fairness/integrity in doing business which is under threat. more
WHY NOBODY KNOWS DGCA RULES ? WHY DGCA CORRUPT OFFICIALS WILL NOT BE PENALISED ? ALL THE TICKEHOLDERS MUST MAKE A PLATFORM AND CHARGE 10 TIME PENALTY IF DGCA FLOUTS RULESV / PLEASE TAKE HELP OF HELPDESKS AT COURTS , DO NOT WAIT FOR GOVERNMENTS TO COMPLY , more
Book direct from airline site and read the fine print before doing business with the booking sites. more
The option need to be given to the customer whether he wants for a different date or money/When refund is given it should include all the charges and not the basic fare only/These things should be clear otherwise these airline peopl do not give any service and try to fool customers as much as possible. more
They dont refund, but sat use the amount for next booking more
