fruits artificial ripening and it'ssweetness

Friends, It is indeed nice to know and learn from the contribuition made by fellow citizens thru this forum.

Now a days it is observered that all of a sudden sice last few years, the WATER MELON, PAPPAYA etc ; so sold are so sweet, why what happened ? has the seed been genetically modified or Biotechnology has developed to produce the sweetness in such fruits, same is not seen in mangoes, bananas, even many variety of grapes, Mossambi, Oranges. Some fruits are naturally sweet some may be man made sweet.

ONE POSSIBLE WAY COULD BE INJECTING EITHER SACCHARINE OR SOME SWEETNER IN THE FRUITS .

THERE IS NO CHECK ON THIS BY ANY AGENCY AND NO ONE BOTHERS ALSO. EVEN SOME CHEMICALS are used for changing color, weight of the fruits.( zibrelic acid and many such chemicals we will never come mto know) and have doubt whether any auhorities have such information that they have published thru various media in the public interest?

There is no substitute for natural produce. The more we tamper with nature, the more detrimental it is. more
