fraud from BHIM App
I contacted to customer care of Union Bank of India to freeze my card and account, he assured it will be freezed in 5 minutes. But Next day, when I visited to the bank branch I came to know that my account and card were not freezed. After that, I give the application to stop all activities of my card and account. This is the side effects of Digital India ? If any bank employee leak the data of any customer whom should take the liability and responsibility. Is it the customer fault? Bank Manager said on this matter that I must send my complaint on Union Banks Grievance cell and all officers. after 24 hours of the mail, I do not get any response. What should I do? Please guide me. more
As for sarkari banks, the digital systems - UPI,OTPs,linking of bank account with BHIM and other accounts - these are all TERRIBLE. I have sarkari accounts as well as ICICI account and I use the ICICI acccount for all linkages, UPIs, subsidy linking, KYC linking and everything. more
You need to check your bank SoA and if both debits appearing, then raise formal complaint to : a. Cyber cell, GZB and Nodal officer UBI. Then, file complaint to nearest local SHO attaching copy of Cyber cell complaint.
Wath for positive action for a week, if nothing moves, lodge a complaint with Banking Ombudsman (BO-II), RBI attaching all documentary evidence. All banks including UBI, are under BO scheme, with BO as their watchdog.
