Fraud by Hackers

How it could be possible to protect our financial protection thru online. I have been infected in March,23 and loss big amt. After filing the case in CyberCrimeBranch, they clearly stated that it can't possible to refund such fraud amt. I urge to PM,Govt.of India thru this, if CCrimeBarnch fails to find out such hackers, why it has setup, it means every top authority are involed in this scam. Resulted simple/sincere person are effecting day by day. Needs to be think seriously and if any transaction has been tracked, CCbranch team must have responsible for find out hacker/bank where funs have been transferred. ONLINE TRANSACTION HAVE EASILY BEEN FIND OUT (as per guidelines)BUT CCB CLEARLY DENIED, IT MEANS EVERY ONE (BANK/CCB OR OTHER RELEATED DEPTT.)ARE INVOLVED IN SUCH FRAUD. As funds have been transferred in specific bank account how it could not be trace out when bank name/IFSC/A/c no. are mentioned in tracking. But CCB/Bank clearly stated it is not possible. WHAT IS MEANS FOR OBNLINE TRANSACTION. BE ENQUIRE SERIOUSLY. IT IS NATION ISSUE. infacted person. csr more

Cyber Crime dept wont help. One should b careful. Newer click any unknown link received , either on your mobile or computer. Once Jamtara was Hackers Hub. If government and other agencies are sincere they can track down those hackers and can control the crime. more
Our Punishment systems are very light. They have to be made stringent. We have to increase Capital Punishment, this will create fear in the mind of culprit. Hard core Criminals and Economic Offenders must be given Capital Punishment. Even our Political System needs drastic change. Unless that is done, nothing is going to improve. more
I agree with Mr Sudarshan that agencies need up gradation in terms of skill & equipment. more
Cyber fraud has become worrisome. Hackers are much ahead of the government . more
Agencies need to be upgraded with additional skills and expertise. New-age crimes do not have legacy solutions. My mobile phone was stolen in Delhi on 26th January. Delhi police took over one month to take note of the police complaint. The much touted CEIR only keeps sending standard messages but no idea if they could trace the IMEI and block it etc. Retreving the mobile is a far cry and there is no idea what would have happened to the my personal data!! The agencies seem to be lacking in ability to deal with these kind of simple but current-age issues. Cyber-crimes are beyond their capacity. Why not involve public-private partnership in this endeavour? (Just a thought - if its going to improve things). PMO cannot be the first and last resort to everything. What is the government for? more
No way to know that. I cannot be absolutely sure that my data has not been misused. It's an uncomfortable situation, to say the least. CEIR responses do not convey anything meaningful. I was informed by the Police that crooks are able to modify the IMEI and prevent tracking. Possibility of tracing the mobile was very low, they said. more
Are you sure your mobile was misused even after reporting to CEIR? more
