First and most importantly trains and platforms should be renewed and the appearance and the internal view of both should be changed to have a pleasent look so that every person should feel to utilise the thrash cans than to litter the floors or compartment . The gov duty officers should be thought of punctuality , manners , and clealiness. Where goes all those training of the military and police force where they are thought to keep their environment clean . Even we citizen should learn these even the educated wont move a few steps to throw the litter or wrappers in the trash can instead trown them on the track . more

if anyone has cared to observe the scanners installed at all major railway stations, cisf guards sitting there are either talking on phones or dozing or chatting away from their seats. What purpose these are serving nobody knows. I was in Mumbai recently and ran through and walked through the security gates couple of times, no signs, no checks and nothing of the sort. All platforms have access through manual crossings unabated. Can walk in through local train platforms and so on more
