Fliers being anxious post AI incident

Is very true. Seeing it in our college and friends group both. The LC survey says 41% are now seeing aircraft types. In my circles its like 80% everyone saying wont fly 787.

I think boeing 787 issues, air india chalta hai attitude and its average or below average maintenance practices all need to be fixed along with regulator DGCAs approach.

How can a regulator in 3 days check 26 aircraft and give clean chit??? Beyond me. more

Qatar cancels Boeing order is the good news.... more
Why only AirIndia, DGCA should do close scrutiny of aircrafts of all the airlines. more
Aircraft undergoing mechanical maintenance are typically stored and worked on in hangars. These are large buildings designed to house aircraft, providing space for maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Hangars can be found at airports and specialized maintenance facilities. Check for long time as a whistle blower has said the safety is compromised. It takes long time for the certification process. more
It has become a cause of concern as daily we hear news about the mal functioning of planes of other airlines also. DGCA must order tough inspection of all planes before they allowed to fly. more
Good to hear that people are getting aware of the model of flights and taking necessary precautions till the cause of the failure is established and also we need to make our checks more robust irrespective of any airline or manufacturer. There cannot be any compromise on this aspect more
