Expand Circle Focus to include Smart Cities

I would like to suggest that localcircles and urban development ministry expand focus of these circles beyond swachh bharat to all urban development programs like smart cities.

A holisitic approach is needed for our cities covering urban rejuvenation and transformation and swachh bharat is only one aspect of it.

Like to hear everyone's thoughts. Last thing you want is while we give swachh bharat feedback, smart cities money is being allotted without our participation.

And all aspects like transportation planning, law order, culture, water supply, pollution control, wifi has to be part of next generation city or smart ciTy.

Please share thoughts. more

Let the local authorities take some volunteers to improve Swechha Bharat in the locality. more
It would be a democratic move. Listening to the people and recording their feedbacks before spending their tax paid money will not only be a welcome step but will be more reflective in the public interest. Thanks more
To make it truely operative, water connection is to be made in village/small towns. Water from ponds/lakes will do. more
Municipal Corporation or Gram Panchayat may come forward to organize of team of registered local circle members with experience of getting idea HELPFUL. Such persons may be allocated CONSUMER COMPLAINTS AND GRIEVANCES, USE OF FAULTY PRODUCTS IN RETAIL MARKET, SOLUTION FOR ILLEGAL OCCUPIES ON PAID BASIS because inspite of his/her experience a greater risk is involved. more
I think local circles also should consider having a separate section for people who wish to participate by writing in their regional language. more
