EV have hidden costs

Here are the hidden costs of EV installation that car dealers don't tell you about when you buy a car.

~ INR. 10k for expediting the application
~ INR. 27k for EV meter installation
~ INR. 5k to 30k for charger installation (Charges are often INR. 500 per metre after 10 metres)

You practically start recouping your money only after you have driven at least 6000 KM due to these unwanted hidden expenses. more

Any new thing in the begining cost high, but when the use increases, the cost automatically comes down. But it takes time. more  
Shrikant Pthrikar: it is an argument that does not hold true today. If this was so great how is it that people did not run out and buy this type of vehicle? That should tell you something about todays reality. No EV is a bad investment. more  
Very important information . Dealers commit all unethical things on customers more  
C.S. Narayanan: EV parts and batteries are made by our #1 enemy China. We have issue with electricity for regular use for public and you are going to charge cars that take hours to charge. EV has very high repair costs. The batteries are toxic when they need disposed off. I will NOT buy one. more  
1. Soon we are going to have surplus power due to solar energy.
2. EV technology is getting matured. Repair cost will be less than other cars.
3. Lots of research is going on on battery.. It is a matter of time before we find a solution. more
