EV charging stations

Indore EV charger blast is one of the deadliest occurrence happened just about a day ago taking unfortunately many lives. This is not the only one. Similar kinds are happening with the e-rikshaw too. The major question is whether any certified quality auditing agency is verifying whether the laid down safety standards have been met by the manufacturers. Who is responsible for this? There are government owned organisations who test and certify the electrical equipment before these are put in market commercially. One such is in Bhopal - CPRI.
This is very unfortunate that every Tom Dick and Harry is manufacturing such equipment and being sold in market, especially the e-rikshaw, sufferer is public at the end.
Something needs to be done. more
