EPF website is not working

Have been trying to lodge a complain with EPFO since morning. The site is down. The URL for the portal is as below. Can someone help?

EPF portal is down, i accept but i have made my payment. One thing all of us should understand is, everybody is trying to access a server from 9.00 to 5.00 pm. Why not access govt websites from 10.00pm to 12.00 midnight. It works well during that time more

Hi Prajith, The URL you posted is for lodging complaints regarding inactive PF accounts. For lodging any complaints regarding your current or past EPF accounts you need to book a Grievance using the link http://epfigms.gov.in/. You can find it in the EPF Main page under Our Services -> For Employees -> (on next page) choose Services -> EPFiGMS (Register Your Grievance). However you must have active UAN without which no grievance is entertained. The interface for registering the grievance is pretty simple and doesn't need any "How to ..."kind of training . Provide your email id in the process so that you receive auto-generated alret on successful registration and also reply email on the action taken. My experience is that (with Maharashtra EPF offices) they do respond in a week. You can book another grievance if not satisfied with the previous outcome, no limit on that. In this way you are also building up official record on your compliant, their actions and follow up. This is a more practical and effective approach than to visit personally and submit letters one after another. During last couple of years many government organisations like LIC, Railways, EPF, Income Tax, Police, etc. have been providing lot of information and interaction facilities for customers or public. We need to visit their sites and explore. Hope this will be helpful. Regards. more
