Entrepreneurship ideas for Swachh Bharat

1. Plants could be set up to generate different kind of bi-products, such as, energy including power & gas, manure, etc. from kitchen waste
2. Bio fertilizer plant can be set up
3. The recyclable items can be used in making raw materials, like, card boards for packaging, hard plastic sheets for manufacturing of various electrical & electronic items
4. Business of implementing an efficient waste management system in colonies/societies could by started by individuals
5. Women entrepreneurs in cleaning business can be set up as a network in every colony. The entrepreneur can be creating a circle for every colony and keeping everyone engaged for cleanliness
6. Such a women entrepreneur network can be supported through CSR funds and then operate independently without financial support
7. Tyre recycling units could be set up to produce rubber
8. Tyres could also be re used in gardens at home. They can be effectively used as baths for children during holidays. Artistic usage shall give us opportunity to make dust bins, big toys etc. to be placed in rugged settings, exhibitions etc. They can be painted and put to use as play things for children in parks. We shall even design sofas with rugged finish in parks and bus stands for tyres are sturdy
9. Purchasing and recycling the plastic waste may be a solution of our problem and good opportunity for business
10. Private companies could be set up who would specialise in building toilets for public in Government offices, public places etc.
11. Plants could be set up and plastic bags, caps and jugs can be processed to make clean fuel
12. Factory to recycle polythene/plastics can be set up
13. Business of providing transport and manpower to collect waste from hospitals/factories can be started
14. People could provide sustainable mobile sanitation solution for large congregations of people converging at a place due to social, religious or political functions – against a usage fees
15. Procurement of mobile toilet units for setting them up at specific locations, installation of the excreta treatment plant including construction of shed and garage is another avenue.
16. Garbage pickup service business by private parties must be set up to augment municipal efforts
17. A cost effective public toilet maintenance business must be set up in every city. more

Though new projects are proposed most of the project reports are taking into account the increase in costs by the time of implementation if there is delay which is obvious more  
government should take necessary steps to ban or reduce the use of plastic bags. We still don't have adequate infrastructure to manage plastic waste then why do we allow the use of plastic? civics authorities should also provide waste collection bins in public areas so that the waste is not littered on road. government should also come up with more strict rules like imposing fine for littering in public places or damaging public property. more  
Exporting street dogs to Korea and China can be a big business. What is nuisance to us is a food for them. If goat-meat can be exported, why not dogs. No animal lovers are present when these street dogs bite children and walkers. Street dogs spread disease. Cities and Town certainly do not need street dogs. more  
It is a big business the only hurdle is Govt. policies. more
