Ending State Inspector Raj - Start Up and Business
Per the announcement by PM, start ups will not be subject to any inspections for the first 3 years. This should cover domains like Labour, Provident Fund, Income Tax, Service Tax etc.
With this post, we would like to seek your inputs on what are the inspections exemptions that business friendly States should grant to Start Ups and Entrepreneurs?
We will then compile them and submit to DIPP, Central Govt Stakeholders and key states so we get as many states to provide these exemptions for Start Ups. more

I have a question why do we have nationalized banks? Are we still living in a socialist country?? That is why the hardship Mr Nair. It is again the socialist model that does not work. more

I feel PF exemption should not be grated under this as it well affect the Employees welfare. more

I am having a bad experience due to the hardship of the financial Institutions like Kerala Financial Corporation in 1982 when I started my SSI unit in Kerala after resign my job in MSEB as Junior Engineer and went for Entrepreneur Ship courese Conducted by SISI I applied for a loan of 200,000/- and they sanctioned only 1.38 Lakhs and disbursed only 94,000/- since it is a technocrats scheme I need to invest only 10% and the KFC put me in bad condition not allowed me to work well they closed the SSI Unit by RR action and kept locked it for 3 year and soled the machinery for below 50,000/- and they attached my other property also I ran away to Gulf for an employment and paid back more than 700,000- only for running the unit for 1 and half year so my request to our Hon.Prime Minister please study the previous experience of the entrepreneur like me who failed only due to the unprofessional approaches of the Financial department of the State Government and if you can provide good support to the people who starting their SSI unit other wise don't put them in trouble and make them suicide I WROTE LIKE THIS ONLY DUE TO MY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WHICH I WAS FACED ON THAT TIME. I am request again to make a study about the failure of the SSI Unit which was closed due to the bad approach of the financial departments and Industrial department in previous year in India from 30-40 years including how many people suicide out of this etc more

All tha above exemptions like Labour laws, Provident fund, Income tax, Professional tax, Serviice Tax, VAT, Excise Duty, etc must be done away with for the first FIVE years. Any startups needs FIVE years to establish themselves in the market and they must be let to grow without any interference and blockages from government's regulatory machinery. more
