Electricity Load

Around 1988, 5 KV load with 3-phase meter was sanctioned for my residence. To save on very high DHBVN bills, Solar connection was applied. Scrutiny of my recent electricity bill showed only 2 KV load. So. I approached DHBVN for correction. They declined for want of evidence of 5 KV connection from my side. They refused to check their own records and I was made to pay Rs. 2425/- for updation of load from 2 to 5 KV more

Well let us take the case - I go to buy Colgate toothpaste and asks for its rate. The shop keeper says with bill it is 80 rupees and without bill it is 74 rupees. Every body chooses the second option. This way I am steeling 6 precious rupees of the govt and allowing the shopkeeper to save on his income tax. So the corruption starts with the society and no doubt ends up in a govt office to whom we are blaming day in day out. more
Please apply in RTI Laws for copy of the application and other documents filed before the Electricity Board in 1989. This will help to you in the matter. more
No. 1 load is always in KW and not in KV. Check your old bills and you will find your sanctioned load indicated on one of them. Let us not blame govt. We as a whole society are in the habit of running higher loads than sanctioned due to which system fails. First admit our faults and then blame govt. How many of us ready to pay taxes honestly. more
Jain Sahib with due respect when one is raising one finger towards some one than three are towards his side. It is easy to blame public or Govt. but how many Govt officials are working honestly. Honesty is wide term not only money term. more
Yes. No governance in place with this govt organisation. I received the bill of rs 30000 for the locked house. I have been raising the complaints and they don’t bother to solve but we get a message that your complaint is resolved. In short, no governance in place with DHBVNL. more
