Electricity consumers in the State of Haryana
I am attaching some of the news report appeared in NBT on 24th June 2018. The content of the news are really shocking. No light for 3 days in Green Field Colony in Faridabad and when the people start protesting, they are locked up in the police station without fan, water for almost 12 hrs. Whether the MLA dischared its responsibilities also need to be looked into. Is it the Govt of Haryana inhuman or it desires people not to demand their rights. While, the Govt of Haryana is expected to immediately investigate the matter, the DISCOM DHBVN should immediately come out with the confirmation on compensating the consumers for not meeting time schedules to restore the electricity supplies if it got damaged.
While on above, the consumers also should get educated to know their rights about electricity services as laid down under Electricity Act. Any feedback on the electricity issues being faced by Haryana residents may please be commented upon on this post. We should go for a Mass Petition and ask for Compensation along with Punishment to the concerned officials. more

This is the real situation in green field. Even no body able to sleep into night due to low intensity voltage and more fluctuation. Fan not properly work and forget ac to work. Many times has been notified to DHBVN related to this concern but those officer are not willing to solve the issue. Why they go away with responsibility and duty. these such type people should be sacked and set an ex-plenary example to all not to careless with their prime responsibility. Whatever happen it was very painful to those people who suffer and spend 12 hour into jail. Atleast MLA should have apologised more

Sir, It seems you are staying in Green Field Colony. If so, is it possible to arrange a group of few residents (say 20-40) so as to disseminate information on our rights and responsibilities in the electricity supplies and discuss a plan to take up such issues with DHBVN. I am staying in Sector 37 and can come for a talk on the issue if you so desire. We as electricity consumers need to ensure that DHBVN works as per Electricity Act. more

The difference is in efficiency and discipline. I lived i Haryana and for 6-7 years and now I live in Delhi. Now my bills are paid by bank directly. When I asked for the same possibility there the bank declined saying there are too many disputes in DHBVN Bills. I also suffered due to billing problems. more

Sir, rules for supply of electricity by private Discom or the Govt DISCOM are the same. We ourselves do not assert the following up of these rules and are finding easy way out. more
