Effective Maintenance of Toliets in Government Offices - Inputs

Some of you have written to us on this subject and the poor state of toilets in Government Office Buildings. The most common complain is the stink and the lack of supplies.

With this post we would like to seek you inputs on what can be done to better maintain Government Office Building toilets.

Practical recommendations would be of great help as this applies to both Central Government and State Government offices.

We look forward to your inputs!

Well the fact is, we all can flush the toilet after using it, but what to do if there is no water in the Cistern, he is helpless, what ideally should be done a person should be fixed to clean it once or twice daily before the start of office or after the end of office hours, it will ensure cleanliness, responsibility will lie on one person which he can't palm off to others. Where I work we have more than one guy to clean the toilet every hour and it is monitored strictly, if one fails action is taken against him which may be even termination from job. more
Toilets/Rest Rooms are the basic requirements for each and every office. It is very essential to keep the Toilets more hygienic, just like our office and its surroundings. Basically, all the existing old type of toilets must be changed to the newly designed one to keep it more clean and also regular and periodical deep cleaning to be done to maintain the cleanliness. more
in every office in addition to office work officers to take as additional responsibility to maintain clean and hygienic by instructing every day to concern. this may leads to effective outcome more
Govt employee must understand the urgency of having a clean and hygienic toilets at both their home and work place. more
