Do not exercise with mask on friends

I know many of you will be upset because only a few are complying with mask mandate and all the surveys LC is doing on it but reality is if you are exercising alone or with family outdoors or indoors, keep that mask away.

Exercise increases the body’s demand for oxygen and, at the same time, increases the output of carbon dioxide. Exercising with tight face masks creates a closed chamber of increased carbon dioxide and inadequate oxygen. The rebreathing of this expired air increases the levels of carbon dioxide in the blood, which leads to an increased acidic internal environment. The acidic environment induces physiological changes in our metabolism, increases cardio-respiratory stress, changes in the excretory, brain and nervous system and even our immune mechanisms!

A person exercising, jogging, cycling or gymming with a mask on, can hence, develop symptoms such as breathlessness, headache, dizzyness, fatigue, drowsiness and muscular weakness.

The immunity being lowered, the exerciser becomes more prone to infections. There could be an out of proportion increase in the heart rate and blood pressure, leading to cardiac overload.

There is reduction of oxygenated blood to all vital organs. The poor blood flow to the kidneys can aggravate renal problems in patients having chronic renal disease. The brain too suffers from reduction in cerebral flow. This can cause mental health issues. The elderly would become more prone to postural instability, gait changes and falls.

Hence, wearing a mask while exercising is especially dangerous for elderly persons who already have a cardio-respiratory or chronic disease. The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended that people should NOT wear masks while exercising. more

Not only during exercises mentioned in the post but while walking as well the nose should be kept free of the mask to intake oxygen directly from the air. Infect, as per Covid protocol, nose should be covered by the mask only when one goes in crowded places, markets, shops, banks/any office and/or comes to close contact of a third person. more  
A good walk without exertion is good with a proper wearing of mask. It will not have any issues. Other types of exercise is not required if there is proper diet control. more  
The mask is asked to wear to increase the Patients for COVID & foolish peoples & Govt. Officers are implementing it by force. Since most of the Peoples are live dead bodies , no body is raising the questions, No Morcha etc. & that's why the Rulers has got power to bent the peoples. more  
Thank God after about one and a half years some people have realized that it is harmful to exercise or do any activity which mandatory require increased oxygen and definitely avoid expired exhales air with increased carbon di oxide. Let the authorities understand this very important scientific conclusion and implement this in their covid-19 appropriate protocol. more  
Why only those who excercise? Even a person working physically hard like working in the fields, sweeping the roads, brisk walking people, jogging people just cannot wear mask as it soffocates more
