Dental Treatment

Always it is a crap to take claim for dental treatments due to flaws in Insurance schemes. I am facing issues with my dental claim where I spent Rs. 30k and as per TATA AIG would get only 5k. We spent a lot of money in paying premium every year but when it is time of claim, we get penny. So pathetic. Government was supposed to reduce the GST on Insurance Policy but never happened. Only talks and no action. For a common people, it is a really tough time now-a-days with so much cost of living. more

Instead of reducing or removing GST on health insurance premium, the government is busy in searching out the areas which are still left out of the coverage of GST. It is completely unjustified to charge GST on Health Insurance premium. The government is requested to have a quick humanitarian view on this important issue. more
Dental is normally not covered under Insurance, except is a few cases with limited reimbursemtd more
The present Government is making a fool of the public by making a publicity about Insurance and Health Benefits. The Insurance companies in connivance with the ruling government are collecting a huge amount of premium in the name of Health Insurance benefits associated with GST charges and the common is duped by these Health insurance benefits. When actual claim comes, all the areas which are not covered by the Insurance comes to light and the Insurance Company pays only a token amount to satisfy the common man. In general, one is left with no other alternative but to spend from one's own resources for health treatment. more
This is s big scam with the help of Govt. & IRDA. Last year powered by electoral bonds govt allowed insurers to increase premium to almost double. One thing Govt does not provide any health facility & on top of that to add pepper to wound the gst also. Govt keeps talking about reducing gst but don't act & we foolishly wait w/out realising that even if they reduce gst will be more than last year because of hike in premium. more
Agree. Health insurance is a huge scam in India with the companies playing around with the small print and indulging in the classic strategy of delay, deny and dispose without any proper evaluation of the claims per se. The hospitals and the insurance companies are also in nexus in having arrangements on tariffs which are not disclosed to the insured. Claims are just repudiated summarily without any cause, unnder the garb of joker clauses. When escalation is done, the same repudiation is done with more aggression and this only leaves the ordinary citizens not much recourse but just suffer. Absolutely pathetic situation and the Government is just apathetic to this. more
