Extremely disturbing and a sorry state of affairs. This is not how a responsible government and a democracy should operate. Information should not be withheld, and updates should be given regularly regarding the progress and steps taken so far. The element of secrecy in play is not only worrying but also gives room to doubt and will instigate conspiracy theories amongst sections of the masses. It also sets a very bad precedent for the way of working and causes a loss of faith. more

AI 171 findings clouded in secrecy. The government wants to politicise only opposition's failings like the Emergency, indulge in whataboutery, but present crisis like the AI 171 findings that is linked in any way with government's failure, is kept a secret. more

Just by giving a briefing, will the cause of actual crash come out? And why are we always obsessed with what other countries do - by the way, has Malaysia been able to find out the cause for the disappearance of two of its planes even after 10 years? So let us not just for the sake of arguments say, "if this would have happened in other country..bla bla bla" more
