Cybersafety for Children - Key Issues
1. Children get easy access to violent games online
2. They share too much personal information with strangers online
3. Teenagers get attracted towards pornography due to easy access on different devices connected to internet
4. They fill a lot of personal information in forms on unsafe websites
5. Unsafe internet access leads to many cyber financial frauds
6. Children get exposed in cyber cafes as their systems have weak safety and firewall settings
7. There are many online rackets running which specifically target children
8. Cyber bullying is a major issue that children face
9. Games and sites misguide children and take authorizations to charge on credit cards
10. Children use their parents credit/debit cards online without their permission
11. Cyber stalking is fast becoming common
12. Many personal and inappropriate videos of children are being found on the internet on adult sites
13. Many cases of children going into depression due to ‘cyber shaming’ have also been reported. more

NOTEWORTHY to note that all above is applicable only to 10% of the cases, Balance 90% are due to the poor conditions, mainly the economical. more

we as parents should watch what children are doing, the time they spend on electronic gadgets, the time and the site they visit. Do not expect any thing from police dept, they are surviving on tax payers money, breaking all traffic rules, very few sincere police officer you will find, most of them on watching movies, or some videos or whatsapp. they are employed to serve for top govt officials and politicians. more

Parents didn't pay attention to what their child is doing these days, they just look at their scores in exams these days. more
