Covid virus spreading indiscriminately without age barrier.
It is seen that Covid virus in a family is catching all the members both adult and young children even at the age of 10 years and above. In such such circumstances it is strange how the Govt.of india have decided to vaccinate only from 45+ years? This vaccination should be give all members of Indian society from 18 years and above. Even if some parents decide to have their children below 18 Govt of India, ICMR must take up action to find out ways and means to vaccinate such children with suitable doses without delay. This is very urgent. Moreover, the Govt.of India must order all State Governments to provide adequate beds in Govt. and private hospitals and provide medical support with doctors and nurses without delay. It is seen that in Karnataka, particularly in Bangalore, there is shortage of beds and hospitals are sending the patients back and ask them to treat the patients at home. The Yeddyurappa Govt does not seem to evince to provide more number of beds in Government and private hospitals on war footing basis to give relief to their people. Mr.Modi immediately intervene and do the needful without delay. He should also ask ICMR to give out fresh protocol of treatment to covid patients with more recent drug findings and experiences gained during the first wave of covid-19. more

Prevention is better than cure. Strong houses survive the earthquakes. Weak houses fall. Hence boost inner immunity instead of expecting and asking help from Govt or any other source. Govt is right in fixing vaccination age limit. People who are younger have more immunity compared to elderly persons. Hence this is a wise decision. Also to make more vaccines available Govt also allowed vaccine from other countries can be imported and used. Let us understand. more

Where is the availability of vaccine to vaccinate all? Shortage is being seen already due to age relaxation to 4 years. Government should have done in stages of 5 years - 55, 50, 45, etc. As supply ramps up, relaxation should be done. Till then, people should be advised to strictly follow the covid protocols. Unfortunately, even ruling politicians are campaigning in elections without any regard for covid and it's spread. EC is also not banning the election meets and rallies. When will people and governments learn? more

I certainly agree with Mr. Sreenivasa's comment. There is no government, no municipality or police to take action. I have called a senior officer of the Pune Municipal Officer 10 times in two days. No reply. Similarly, there were hundreds of vehicles on the road outside my building on a strict lockdown on Saturday and Sunday, where were the police. This is like a highway and people need to be stopped but there is no governing body present. It is the governments, state and centre that need to be strict but they are busy lining their vote banks. May the Lord help us. more
