COUNT DOWN TO PLASTIC BAN HAS STARTED - JANUARY 2019 :

The attachment gives a count down number as Day 21 today ; It is past 21 days the efforts have been going on tirelessly by all the players . The manufacturers using plastic for packaging, the consumer using plastic , general public and the entrepreneurs and scientists and researchers to innovate recycle the Plastic.

*Manufacturers using plastic for packaging , have started installing Gasolyser Plants to convert Plastic.
* The rules to control the end user or the litterer to minimize plastic use, source segregation and hand over to the municipal authorities. Fair enough .
* Entrepreneurs starting to convert Plastic to Fuel. Government should give top priority to allocate place , loans for them on a priority basis.
*Enthusiastic youth like students , who have initiated to replace Plastic Bags with bags made of Old cloths news papers .

It is a huge Topic , it has been talked discussed all along by many . And all the spheres have been discussed threadbare in this forum, by the public , the NGO’s , the interested have put their heads and Minds together that has made the project to March ahead.

When we hand over our House and Property to our heirs don’t we leave in good condition , why not in a larger outlook think about leaving the Earth and Atmosphere also the same way.

WE HAVE NOW BEGUN TO UNDERSTAND THAT , IT IS OUR DUTY TO HAND OVER THE EARTH AND ATMOSPHERE TO THE NEXT GENERATION IN A LIVABLE DECENT CONDITION.

A welcome khabar on a practical step implemented...... more
As of now, many initiatives in different areas are taken into hands in our country giving big publicity but what we experienced till now is that majority of such programmes though started in a big way, were stopped or discontinued without making any remarkable progress and citing any excuse therefor. Time passes and after certain period of time we, the common man, forget that the government had started various projects spending in crores of public money, which was merely wastage because of discontinuance thereof before making any headway. In the instant case, let's hope that the authorities are determined now to find out a workable solution to menace of plastic. more
Converting plastic in to patrol is a Good Idea.Govt should explore at the earliest. It will kill 2 birds with one stone. more
The present effort is to ban polythene bags of less than 50 micron thickness. The drive should be extended to all thicker plastics, such as plastic bottles and other packaging items. Simultaneously drive should be for reuse of those plastic products. more
Just a day or two back I was watching WION TV where they showed a clip from French new with a video showing a machine which can turn wast plastic weight 1 kg into petrol worth 1 liter .The invention is from French science fertenity and not from any French nukkad or gali gucha . Now if Govnment of India wants it can send some serious Indian scientist with mechanical and chemical engineering back ground to know about the machine and manufacture same in India to turn all waste plastic into petrol if not buy the machine with 40% commision .Govt should not wait for 50 years to bring ng the machine to India . more
