Corruption is majorcause of cocern

Election reforms should be taken placed , spending of high value amount is contributing in the corruption. Voting should be compulsory for every one more

I may appear to be off track, but truth must be told. I think it is hypocrisy to put ceiling on election expenditure when everyone knows that elections can not be fought in modern times within the prescribed ceilings. It might be a better idea to allow expenditure without ceiling instead of hypocrisy of putting ceiling on candidate expenditure and none on parties and well wishers. if nothing else the black money that Government finds difficult to bring back will be ploughed back in Indian economy and reach poor people's hands as most of the un-accounted money reaches them at election time anyway. State funding though an attractive idea is ridiculous as there are umpteen number of parties and candidates that contest the elections many of them dummy, so burdening citizen for the shenanigans of these worthies is not only counter productive it is, for the lack of better words, downright fraud on people of this great country of ours. The populace has shown that if they believe in a candidate and his party they will elect even one who does not spend much. It is also perhaps high time that the practice of allowing independent candidates to contest be stopped and in General elections only national level parties are allowed to contest. more
Corruption is making people dishonest and root cause is poverty. People are not getting basic needs such as food, water, power which causes them to earn those things through easy way. Another cause is lack of strong laws of punishments and pending cases in courts for several years. more
I have seen lot of cases where government is spending money without doing the Cost Benefit analysis of the projects . In Delhi or NCR , you will see lot of subways and foot over bridge on the roads which are not being used by the adequate people as no pre scientific survey was conducted , only executed because of minting some money by the contractors or civic officials . It is being noticed that footpath are made every year after dismantling the old one . I do not know why cost benefit analysis are not being done for such spending ? more
