Why do not display such boards on every stations more
Same in almost all stations more
At the outset, board displaying rates payable to coolies are not very prominent at stations. Again at stations, such boards are at one place only. I feel, such boards should be displayed at all most platforms. Secondly, coolies also do adhere to these rates though as passengers point out them. Again, no railway staff is coming to our help. Coolies also behave roughly and sometimes, passengers are also not cordial. Secondly, trolleys are rare commodity at stations. Again, most passengers, after use of these trolleys, do not leave them back at their places. May be, awareness campaign for passengers, coolies and railway staff will be better option and will yield good results. more
Passenger should be aware more

So far, no coolie at the Old Delhi or New Delhi railway station has ever demanded wages of 400 to 500 rupees from us, despite that we travelled with even up to six pieces of luggage...... more
then you are lucky...we experienced this and feel helpless when others also refused to lower the rate...there is a union... more
