Convenience Fee loot and Govt own action
Despite as raising the issue the convenience fee monster keeps raising its ugly head in our day to day lives.

My point is why is convenience fee by makemytrip cleartip bookmyshow pvr not capped at 35 rupees like IRCTC?
Why cant Govt bring a capping?? Digital was supposed to lower cost. The reverse is happening. more

Convenience fee should not become extortion. The regulators or the ministeries concerned must intervene quickly. more

This fee is mere fraud. For facilitating business, the consumer pays obscene charges, but where is the convenience? There should be no convenience fee levied as it is akin to a transaction charge which is intrinsic for the conduct of any business. Fixed costs of doing business is implied and should not be additionally passed on to consumers. more

Whether the convenience fee is taxable ? If yes, Govt will not regulate or put a max limit more
