CONTROLS ON BANKING

I read that RBI does not have total control on Bank - PSU & Private. That is why PNB & other PSU banks can do as they please.
Whosoever reading this, especially bankers, pls send this to RBI.
Singapore banks are under the checks and balances of MAS
http://www.mas.gov.sg/ .
It is a regulatory body and even a officer in a bank is registered and approved via MAS before he can work in a bank.
Banks operate independently but under strict guidelines from MAS.
They have watchdogs which oversea internal auditors as well as external auditors. more  

Sir, I have a Account in Bank of India since 2011, but due to some reason, I can not maintain that account in January 2016.So, I put a application on the table of Branch Manager Mr. AK Dixit Chief Manager, Amina bad Branch, Lucknow. He take my application but not close my account. One day I received a call for pay non maintenance charges , I gave him all information about all incident. But they not close my account. After four month I received a e statement of above said account, then I file a complaint on Bank griviance mail ID. After two days. I received a message that yours loan account will be NPA, when I saw account number that was same number of my current account. Some tell me, How Bank create Non maintenance charge in loan account without customer permission or loan contract/application? more  
Exactly correct. National Wealth, Income in Hands of Govts. Public Funds shall be under strict Regulating Body to save public Savings keeping all Accountable. more  
It is not the Govt which governs the banks, but this body more
