Company volumes versus GST collection growth

Every Month GST collection grows by approx 7-8% YoY….
but results of companies indicate a 0-2% volume growth….
Means all growth is driven by Price Inflation and not demand inflation….
If this continues, combined with Joblessness and Job losses, trust me India will not need a Trump to destroy its economy but its own taxes will destroy it…. more

Companies are buying from China at very cheap prices and selling at exorbitant prices just like the multinationals do . This adds to the GDP and stock market prices but does not add any jobs. High time the govt wakes up about the gross misuse of MRP more
The GST increase is 1.The companies sales volume increase. 2.Addition of such who have escaped ( online sales companies are largely responsible). This article when it reaches some business houses and some Opposition leaders they will be happy to call any leaders The end Some destruction Encourage governments to set up village level industries B) Encourage the young to form a cooperative society and work in village more
Politicians don't but bureaucrats definitely understand the maths....but they have to count their pre and post retirement benefits as well more
Most of the products are overpriced at company level. Companies, distributor, retailers make money and end sufferer is consumer. Govt should have check on MRP..now a days most of the products have MRP just like on crackers. And after few months, same company offers buy one get one or x ml/ gms Free..who gives free.. more
i can say that taxes on common consumption goods of aam aadmi are high which if reduced can boost consumption. But it takes a long time for govt to reduce taxes they will first form a gst council and wait for a year or more to take any action.Ease of doing takes a long time and by that time the rates would have increased a lot so the reduction in taxes if at all it happens is lost and customer does not feel it is reduced since for him the end rate is same more
