1. LEAVE DOG SHIT ASIDE, IT'S THE DOGS THEMSELVES THAT ARE A MENACE! THEY CAN BITE YOU FOR NO RHYME OR REASON! 2. COMMUNITY PARKS OF SIZE 30M X 60M OR THEREABOUT ARE OF NO USE. LET PARKS BE FEW BUT MAKE THEM SIZEABLE LIKE E.G. NEHRU PARK OR DEER PARK OR LODHI GARDENS OR AREA AROUND THE QUTUB MINAR ETC. ETC. LET THERE BE PLACE FOR CHILDREN TO PLAY, FOR WALKERS, FOR JOGGERS, FOR PICKNICKERS ETC. more
In my opinion ,the loosing the ELECTION in BIHAR is very similler to that of DELHI. The BJP could not connect themself to the GRASSROOT or POOR or RURAL Electorates to know their problems,Where as the OPPOSITION contected most of them.BJP party at center must take lesson from here. more
1. I know no point in writing any suggestions because everything is under Politicians and local goons control. 2. The politicians should do only politics in election time and do good for the public , espectially weaker sections, till the election time. 3. All parks and gardens to be assigned to maintain by Municipality in co-relation with Societies and Federations of the Cities and towns. 4. Open space and gardens are required to get fresh air for the general public. 5. Definitely, it should not go to politicians or goons hand. 6. Do not give to any Party. 7. Please attach the same with Societies and federations of the area. 8. Bring in policy to maintain gardens and greeneries alongside roads, which are to be maintained by societies but with the real help from Municipality or panchayat for cutting and beautifying the same by providing the necessary machines and tools. 9. The municipality should provide assistance areaswise by informing the area's socieites when the task will take place.. 10. Similarly, grass cutting , mudding and leveling of grounds, tree planting along the grounds to be done by Municipality. Rest of the maintainance can be done by the area societies or federations. 11. Community parks/gardens have to managed jointly by the RWAs and ULBs. But the local bodies are generally indifferent because this kind of work does not give them any opportunity of percentage cut. Hence, the RWA has to constantly prod them for the help. more
In my opinion at number of places even if lot of such things are provided, there is no accountability of the persons assigned these responsibilities. So I think by just providing these resources is not sufficient. There is a strong need to come up with an accountability plan which comprises of penalties also. more
