Clean Drinking Water and its Uses

Clean drinking water is a must for every human and animal beings across the globe for survival. Increasing population and commercialization of waste land along with hyper-technology leading to new products consuming lot of water in its production is the legitimate cause of declining volume and quality of water across the globe. We are least concerned about maintaining the quality of water owing to lack of resources and research fund in this important need.

Water shortages can damage the survival of bilogical species and shorten our life span due to global warming.

Sector -29, Faridabad is laced with dirty water coming out of the taps on a regular basis. There is no complaint against it . People are happy . Sometime water does not come on time and we find it difficult to use it for our daily activities.

The best part of our sector 29 is that people here never complain and are happy with the consumption of dirty water. more

Many pollutants cannot be filtered by all kinds of fiter/ RO. Like some of pesticide and heavy metals. There is no safety guideline / control on this from government side. Some of the water supply is governed by private body/ society and quality of water is being left in the hand of destiny. more
Thank you Mr. Srivastava. Residents of Sector-29 are very happy with the consumption of dirty water. We have brought the matter to MCF and Residents Welfare Association, Sector-29 but in vain. more
Gov't is trying to cheating each and every one that there are too many subsidy except clean water and clean air . I am remembering that days when country was poor even dependent for food grains but water was free and clean on every corner of narrow and non developed streets. Now people may think are real gainers or loosing every thing more
Most of us now use RO or aquaguard, not only in Harayana but everywhere. the quality of water is far from being pure. more
Thank you for sharing the article. I am the resident of Green Field Colony, and everyone in Faridabad knows the state of water crisis in Green Field colony. As there is no water supply for over past 7 years in our lane (B1000... lane) we receive about 1000 litres of water through tankers on alternate day basis. However, in every summer season the Urban Improvement Company (the colonizers) takes decision that the water supply will take place on every 3rd day (same quantity of water) due to the shortage of water at their receiving end. Every summer season we hear that it will become better by next summer season and the problem continues as usual or getting it further worst. Sometime in June 2016, the Urban Improvement Company took decision that it will stop water supply through the tankers, without making any alternate water arrangements. Quite a few Green Field residents have approached and requested our Honourable Central Union Cabinet Minister Shri. Krishnapal Gujjar Ji and explained the severity of the water problem. Honourable minister had immediately assured us in talking it up with the Urban Improvement Company and continuation of water supply through tankers for time-being. We have started receiving the tankers just 2 days after Honourable Minister’s assurance. All of us sincerely thank the Honourable Minister for his quick and kind action on the problem. Honourable Minister had also assured us that there will be a regular water supply (line supply) starting from 31-Jul-2016 or maximum by 31-Aug-2016. But, till now we are having water crisis as we still get water through the tankers only and that too on every 3rd day. Through this forum, I humbly request the Honourable Minister's intervention and the respective authorities to take care of this problem permanently. And, I am with the Honourable Minister’s dynamism and kindness the work must have been in progress. I am very sorry to boring you guys with our problems. But, I have been facing this problem for over past 11.5 (eleven and half years) years and day by day we are really getting frustrated. I am still hoping for some positive news here. :) more
