City Level Power Circles - Inputs Sought

We are encouraged by the action and communication from local and central Government after the LED Distribution survey.

One of the inputs you had given earlier this year was creation of a power circle in every city by the power ministry so problems related to billing, outages, theft, new connection, corruption can be discussed, raised and resolved.

Please share your thoughts on whether this will be useful and how. We will then accordingly take it up with Ministry of Power to see how these can be enabled. more

Hydrogen produced on demand from Water by electrolysis principle if used in cars and tractors can reduce/remove pollution. The cost of HHO Kits can be recovered from extra mileage we get. The HHO Kits are being made in India, the quality of the product is not certified by the Indian Standards Institute. People are being fooled by unscrupulous manufacturers. WHY IS Government of India not encouraging its use to improve National Economy and Reduce Pollution caused by vehicles. Why it is not being used to generate electric Power in remote villages so that we can create more employment, Reduce migration from villages to towns or cities, use electricity for cooking. Running rural industries. www.artofselfhealing.in more
could you please explain how a complaint given on corruption , billing etc would be addressed. Do you expect power minister to go all complaints and solve. No sir, let there be a local mechanism to address the problem. I am sure the local mechanism will be aided by local administration. Let this be given to local circles who can do better service more
what cannot be implemented in the due process, setting up committee is only to delay the issue. Even in the first instance these should not be encouraged and action initiated on erring dept/persons. more
What ever be the power circle or committee, there should be a system to register the complaints and give a docket no as is done by the B.S.N.L. When the specific problem isresolved it should also be informed to the complainant as done by the B.S.N.L. This will prevent : * Corruption. * Procrastination . * Undue waiting time by the customer . more
- It would help if it was not a committee in name only - good for TV shows, newspaper articles and then relegated to the cupboard. Their opinions and suggestions should be taken seriously and after due diligence implemented - The committee should meet common citizens from all strata of society so that concerns from all segments can be heard and addressed - People with different skills should be part of the team. Young, mid level management, business people, Sr. citizens etc should be part of the team. - Meeting with the suppliers, manufacturers, vendors should be on the agenda. more
