Circle for Ministry of Finance

Just like Urban Development Ministry has this Swachh Bharat circle, can Ministry of Finance also start a circle on Demonetization (later All about Finance in India) and then have local city circles where income tax , currency, atm, banking issues be discussed? Even they will come to know of issues in their system.

Something like this could be very helpful in current time when everyone has a question. Govt officials could share info as and when. more

Sir - what is the status of my request please. Is mr. Jaitley listening more
Why don’t TV channels help the public to go non-cash? I see almost all news channels busy reporting queue at ATM, banks and problems of public due to note ban. But I don’t understand why any media is not coming up with programs listed below and broadcast it at least one hour per day for next 2 months. Why can’t they take some initiative to build less cash society and thus to reduce corruption. I suggest the following programs in TV channels. Since TV is a media where people can get training like in-person and reach mass at the same time. 1. Have a program to demonstrate using UPI based apps like SBI Buddy, PhonePay, Pockets etc. it will be useful for educated people having bank account. 2. Have a program to demonstrate using e-wallet like paytm etc. it will be useful for educated people having bank account. 3. Have a program to guide people to open Jan Dhan account and avail debit card, it will be useful for people who never had a bank account. 4. Have a program to demonstrate using debit cards and entering PIN at swipe machine, it will be useful for people who never used card at POS. more
I agree. Let such things be with public participation. more
