Central Govt commits to SC to amend POCSo
We are pleased to share with everyone involved in the petition on child rape that the Central Government has produced the attached letter before Hon’ble Supreme Court and committed to amending the POCSO act and provide death penalty in case of Child Rape.

10 more Child Rapes found yesterday while the Ordinance is in process . THIS MEANS , SOME RAPES ARE NOT NATURALLY HAPPENED . Need to think deeply by our Intelligence Forces . more

A qualified law has since come into effect. The provision of death penalty should have been made for all cases of tape. more

good move, but child friendly courts and vulnerable witness courts in all the districts . All Inquiries and trials under Juvenile Justice AcThe High court bench made it clear that the states have to set , protection of children from sexual offences Act, the prohibition of child marriages Act and other similar offences are required to be carried with a degree of sensitivity , care and empathy for the Juvenile victims,and all the posts in these commissions are filled up with responsible and sensible persons . The police have a greater role in these cases are there is every need to set up special Juvenile police units. Eminent persons from civil society must be appointed as visitors to monitor the functioning of these child care institutions. Myself therefore, request you to see that Child Friendly Courts should be there in all states of the country, Telangana and Andhra pradesh states immediate measures to Set up CHILD FRIENDLY courts at the earliest. I Shall be Greatful to you for such help. more
