Central Government actions needed on Swachh Bharat

I see one thing that central Government is doing right on Swachh Bharat is peoples participation through many many discussions and surveys. These discussions here seem to cover every gamut of the Swachh Bharat. However, where the Govt is lacking is taking timely action on them. Yes, plastic waste, c&d waste policies were fine but why is the PM not talking about "cleaning at night" This is culture change and he must lead from front and ask people. just like that Open defecation/urination or not using polythene.

Time to act is now. 2.5 years already past, only 2.5 left.

Cost the jobs of the plastic producers, if you have to save Mother Earth. The same has to be followed in the case of people, who are not involved in nature's protection work. It is time to protect Nature and her resources from hitting extinction. more
I agree with Shri Mittal. Urban Local Bodies must take up night time collection of garbage. Yes, there will be initial opposition by Labour Unions. But ULB should take them on board in this issue by suitable incentives and training. more

Other day, the person sitting next to the window threw bus tickets out of the window. My husband who was sitting next to him asked him not to throw on road. That person got into an argument-who are you to tell me ? you keep your house clean- dont advice me. there are other people throwing garbage on the roads- go tell them etc. my husband said" I am a taxpayer of this country. i want our country to be clean. at least next time before lthrowing, you will remember me. Not throwing waste in public property should be instilled in all school children- our next generation may see a cleaner India more
