Case Filed against Competent Service Ghazipur and Maruti
I like to bring to your notice That I have filed case against Maruti Suzuki's dealer and authorized service center Competent service in Consumer forum located at Saini Enclave, East Delhi.
My Maruti swift was home picked and dropped after service in Jan 2013.
After a year or so I noticed that tube from the torn tyre peeping out and to my surprise, left rear tyre of my car was stolen / replaced by Maruti dealer or its employees while servicing. I knew that new cars now use tubeless tyres and there was no question of tube in there. It turned out that even the tyre was old.
I immediately complained to Competent service center and explained the issue. Unfortunately, they initially refused to pay and attention and resorted to dilly dallying tactics..
When I escalated the issue to their head office and wrote email-There Service in charge-Col Mr P.B. Suri called me and offered me 50% of the total tyre cost as though he was doing a favor to me.
As it was not my fault and I wanted my tyre to be replaced by a new one, I filed the case in consumer forum.
On 10 May the Hon’ble judge patiently heard me and immediately ordered Notice be issued and gave me 2nd June Date.
There may be many of you who could think of pain that one has to take while filing the case however it’s not at all difficult.
Anyone who has same experience, I would strongly recommend consumer forum which ultimately seems only option to teach these companies a lesson. more
