Bullet Train
It is indeed great that India is going to have a bullet train. I was really looking forward to it,but I was saddened by the news that 77 hectare of forest land being protected with life and limb by the officials of the forest department will go in one sweep for this development.
I would like to propose to Mr4. Piyush Goyal, Honourable Minister for Railways, to have a look at the railways in Italy. They have preserved nature by building all tracks either on pillars or made tunnels so that not a single cent has to be taken from anybody.
Wherever forest area or paddy fields are there, we could think of building the tracks at a height in the form of bridges. Passengers will have an aerial view of the great forests of India and may even see wild life on this journey. It will generate income from tourism also.
This will make the name of India even more bright when people hear how serious we are about conservation, a model to the world more
