BIS fails to implement its own mandate.
Failure of enforcement is a big shortcoming of BIS. Most products having mandatory BIS implementation are flooding the market without any action from BIS. more

Indian mindset is itself manipulative and complicated that leads of corruption. Yes, none of the Indian business has even tried to produce competitive products. Why should the consumer not look for cheap and best in the world market, even if it is China? Boycott is not the solution. more

This is true... But it can't be denied that we have a tendency to make things complicated to encourage corruption..... Can we manufacture the microprocessors we import from China...????If yes... BIS has no role to play in cases/ products for which BIS certification has not been granted. more
