Best 4:30/5 pm snacks for kids

What are the best snacks to give kids after they come back from school at around 4:30 so they have enough energy for evening play and are yet hungry for dimner at 7:30 pm. Right now I am not doing it right and therefore they are not hungry for dinner. more
