Be careful of matrimony sites

This is stupid. Same thing happened to my friend. I advised him to ignore it. WHY? they will never release the video to anyone. Once they release the video the chance of getting the money is gone. So they will try to blackmail you. My friend Is married so when he disconnected the call as soon as he saw nude girl on video. So it was only few seconds still they tried to blackmail him. He went to the police who were very co-operative once they saw the video. They told him why are you worried you have cut the video in few seconds. He said other people have gone to the bathroom and stripped naked and mastrubated on the video. Even they have come the police. He then just blocked the numbers and deleted whatsapp. No news from them. Then he told a few people and they also faced the same thing. It was 5 ppl from his Facebook. I told him to post what happened. And even post the video of the girl with his face and her naked parts masked but show her face. Then some 11 ppl responded to him privately. 5 from his FB friends .The scammers have got the contact through friend. From that nobody paid money everyone went ot he police. They did the same. While one guy had full video sex with the girl. They asked for 2 lakhs he said he won't pay and he used to call the number for phone sex. Haha. They then asked him 20K. he said I will give 2000 for if you can get the girl to have sex with me. This must be the only guy the scammers had to block as he kept asking them to send the girl life he will pay for her travel and pay 2000 rupees for 1 night. This is proof that they will never upload ur vidoes. They can't actually ON FB it will get detected as Nude video by AI and it will be deleted and their accounts blocked. So they cannot take the risk of getting account blocked or Whatsapp blocked as now it is very difficult to open fake accounts on Facebook. You will have to change your device. more  

Downright stupid on part of the female. What is the matrimonial site expected to do? Or for that matter what can the parents do? Do parents ever encourage such behaviour? more
