Take a vow TODAY that v will not crib or rant about India rather shape our country by selecting a PLEDGE(s) and start working on it immediately...........
1. I will stand for the Girl child
2. I will stop cribbing and start voting
3. I will not give a rupee in bribe
4. I will be the change I want to see
5. I will help a less fortunate today
6. I will stand against honor killing
7. I will not ill-treat or abandon elderly family members
8. I will stop my car to help an accident victim
9. I will fight for the cause of helpless people
10. I will raise my voice against sexual exploitation of children
11. I will count to 10 before I react
12. I will offer my bus or metro seat to someone who needs it more
13. I will visit an old age home to cheer up the old and lonely
14. I will not waste food, water, electricity even if I can afford it
15. I will donate my organs
16. I will help a stray animal
17. I will not play loud music in public
18. I will throw garbage in trash cans
19. I will make a Hindu, Muslim, Sikh & Christian friend
20. I will make a habit of saying 'Thank You' more

Wow, you have given a long list. I think 4-5 key points would be good enough for a start. I think a real start is accepting the great heritage of Veda and Shashtra; and knowing more about what is in Veda. Knowing 'dharm' is sureshot way of getting on the way to do the right things. more
