There is a need for govt policy to direct the automobile and other electronics manufacturers to make available till the expected life of that particular model. more

Yes, they know, if a person can afford lakhs of rupees vehicle, he can pay high spare parts cost.
But the fault lies with us only. We never ask or negotiate at the time of polurchase of any vehicles. We as customer can also nationwide form a specific demands with the manufacturers to supply essential spares bare minimum quantity for three years trouble free operation n also must negotiate such terms like all companies buy their requirements with such conditions.
This circle n citizens must form a nationwide union or forums to negotiate such terms of warrantee. Or otherwise just keep on bearing the cost with murmurs here. more

Normally original spares are available only with the authorised service centres.All other repair agencies will use either Duplicate or Salvaged spares from Bhangar Cars.This is the reality. more

Duplicate spare parts are flourishing in the market, because of the demand. Mainly, a buyer enquires rate of a spare part from a shop, when he given option of both original and duplicate. Buyer enquires about the life of the duplicate one and the shop keeper explains, no complaint from any customer, to whom he sold several pieces for years. Thus, buyer prefers to buy duplicate . Mr. Anoop kishore said the rate difference makes a buyer to select the duplicate. It may difficult for an original manufacturer to identify , which one is original and duplicate. more

Mr. Raveendran and other Learned Readers......Please be informed all the Rules and Regulations are in place with NO implementation policy what so ever. You would be surprised to know that duplicate parts in automobile industry has more in Demand rather than the original and it is very difficult to differentiate between them. In one the State the seller said that do you want the original part or the Delhiwala. Delhi is quite famous in manufacturing of duplicate parts. One original auto part which was sold in that State for Rs. 2800.00 MRP, the same rpt the same we were able to get it for Rs 1750.00 with Bill in Delhi. One should know well about the Auto Market. more
