Attention Electricity Consumers facing harassment
Dear Members, I have submitted a petition against DHBVN for deficiency in service, unethical business practices for late delivery of bills, billing on average basis without taking meter reading and not resolving billing complaints. I am also quite sure consumers may be bribing to get their bills rectified. I would be happy if other consumers of DHBVN also file their petition in case they have failed to get redressal from DHBVN. Dear Mr. Sajan, Is it possible to make a complaint to DHBVN with a copy to me. While I have already filed a complaint seeking penalty to be imposed on DHBVN for deficiency in service and adapting to unethical business practices, I am planning to take up few complaints in a consolidated manner appropriately with various stakeholders by 20th March 2016. I would be expecting the complaints by email with complete details like Consumer No., copies of the relevant bills as well as the issue faced by the consumer. I would be pleased to extend my assistance to the consumers who would like to come forward. This particular action would be related to only billing complaints and the harassment faced by the consumers in getting necessary correction and most probably by paying money to the staff. @Mr. Ranjit Mishra, I am really excited about the steps taken by you. We need to address the system failure to address the problem of the expectation of corrupt officials and put them on their toes. more

All state dept. are extremely corrupt. And they feel immune to everything because they are govt. servants. I had the similar issue when Mr. Mahendar Pratap was electricity minister in Hooda govt. I was pissed off with DHBVN behavior for bribe. So, I got electricity secretary's email from govt site and wrote an email to Mr. Mahendar Pratap, who was also my area's MLA. Within 2 days, DHBVN official was at my door asking for issue and promised to fix the bill, which was done eventually. more
