As you know I am half an Indian but can give you as an outsider my advice:
I know India since 1963 and have still the feeling that all most all Indians lack national pride. Everywhere I see that India has not made itself independent from the
disgusting enslaving mentality of the English. So, still today Indians cling to the stupid left driving, to the inch, feet, mile system and worst of all to the disgusting education system.
Fortunately the English did not do this colonial system to us Germans. We are excellent in copying and we copy all structures which somewhere turned out to be better.
In the health system we do not believe in one system; we have got the private and public medical service. Still there is one system superior: the Chinese system. Every clinic has got two parts, one with the traditional, one with the modern medicinal practice.
And why does India not practice the Ayurveda medicine countrywide ? This kind of medicinal practice is unique and
many western specialist are eager to find their secrets and practice.
So, please become more independant in your mind. Afterall India is the Mother of all nations and I want that India gets free, free and free.
Ceterum censeo India esse reunda (it is a must that India gets united - I pray that this comes soon) more

I do not agree. This harping on the past and complaining about the bad alone and noticing none of the good that came from English rule is doing us no good. If we know what is good and bad then what is preventing us from moving to the good without wasting time. We have enough of resources and talent. Those that try and glorify the alternative medicine systems should do it without denigrating the achievements of the modern medicine stream. It is evolving and has made phenomenonal strides whereas the others have not. Encourage them to do it. Meanwhile try and decide which of the systems you would want to choose for your dear ones when a critical life threatening condition develops and think deeply why that is so. more
Right from the 3rd decade , the rule was diversified towards dilution of many of Indian Nation . Since from 5th decade Globalization and , easy Businessing continued with outsourcing ; made Indian Natural Wealth of various places exploited for outside business and in this mission , the Free and low cost Ayurveda , Naturopathy etc., were willfully set aside and EVEN NOW, THERE ARE EVEN TEASING AND COURT CASES ON SUCH INDIAN MEDICINE MAKERS FROM INDIAN NATURAL HERBALS Etc., . This is the really carried ill along-with many selfish beneficiaries in the thirst of Political ruling Power in all most the States in India with collected alliances . more
Yes, 600 years of foreign rule has done tremendous damage to our psych, and we have not fought hard to get out of it. Sycophancy, lack of self-respect and respect for others, abandoning good things of India and clinging to everything western, dishonesty and corruption are plaguing us and spreading down to common people. But, the young generation seem to be quite aware, that's why there is hope for some positive change. Especially now that people have given a mandate to the new government, something good should come out. At least the national unity and national pride. And once the upward trend starts, it will all be fine. Gruss. more
